O Where Is My Hairbrush
I was going to post something else today, but then I found this video clip of the hairbrush song from Veggie Tales. And of course, I need to pre-empt whatever I had in mind to share it.

Ah, now that’s probably the song that was stuck in my head for the second longest time. (Don’t ask what the first is. I will write about that later.)

This video and song crack me up but the song totally gets stuck in my head! I didn’t even have to start the video in my head before I started thinking, “Wheeeeere is my hairbush? Oh wheeeere is my hairbrush?” !!!

@rubialala: Originally I did not know that it’s from Veggie Tales, but somehow I had an mp3 file of the song on my computer. Someone probably sent it to me at some point. And it was stuck in my head as soon as I listened to it. Several years later I decided to look up what that song is because it started to bug me not knowing where the awesome song came from. And that, is when I started watching Veggie Tales when I spot it while channel surfing…
@Your Highness: Starting to include the blog part in your url, huh?
Kelvin,
The worst part about having grown kids is missing these great things like the clip from “Veggie Tales.” I swear, you are keeping me young!
By the way – where IS your hairbrush?

Oh damn, WHERE IS IT?
I actually never watched Sesame Street or Veggie Tales growing up, but as an adult (age-wise anyway), I enjoy watching those things. My friend Dave once said “…most people move on from childhood and leave it behind. I feel like Kelvin managed to take his grammar school years with him and has continued to develop them throughout his adulthood” and I think he’s so right.
