I wanted to go back to it when I was looking for a story idea. The way I think is: whatever's the silliest the came to mind would be the best idea. So when I asked myself, "What is the silliest thing to happen when you open a lock?" The answer is... realizing that there's another lock, of course. And then I proceed to base the whole story on a silly pun (lock vs. luck), which I tend to do. The character names were there so I remember who said which quote.
