That&#039;s so true: live performances are always like this for me. The first one is always a nervous dip but usually pretty good; the second-last night or week is always the best, when you hit your stride but are not over-tired; and the last night or week is always slackening off and getting worse.

... This week&#039;s activities remind me of just how tiring uni was. Mondays were the worst: 1.5 hours of movement, followed by 1.5 hours of voice. By the afternoon, everyone was just exhausted! (Luckily the afternoon was usually a theory class, but once we hit end-of-semester productions, practically the whole week was spent rehearsing) And people wonder how actors keep fit!</description>
